KarmaLynx.com

So we know that some people just sort of stumble upon our site and don't have an account yet. Well we wanted to make it so they could bookmark whatever it was they were reading now and come back later. We decided to add our own version of sharethis so visitors and users could share. We have chosen a few social bookmarking locations that are a little more personal to us and are also personal to our users. And as always we are more than willing to make a change to something different if our users request it. Just use our Feedback forum on GetSatisfaction.com.

Alright, so here is a list of the sites we chose to add to KarmaLynx.com:

First of all we chose Twitter so you could tell your Twitter followers about what you discovered on the site. It just made sense to add this one because our site is about sharing, and twitter makes it easy to share.

Next we added Delicious. The reason for adding Delicious was simple. Some articles and links may not be worth a vote to you, but you may want to keep the information around for later or for a refrence. So they are in.

Next, we added Facebook. We added facebook in for the same reason we added Twitter. Facebook has become a great way to share interesting and wonderful things you find on KarmaLynx.com.

Google Bookmarks was next. Google provides an excellent way to save something for later, and since Google isn't going anywhere it's a great place to keeps things long term.

Our last two social bookmarking or article sharing sites we added are StumbleUpon and technorati. We chose to add these sites because they seem to house a lot of various blog material. We hope that users will contribute excellent blog articles and tutorials on KarmaLynx.com, and if they want to tell other bloggers about the content we figured these two sites would be helpful.
